I have made reservations three ours before I needed a ride with taxi companies in town and both times they were a half hour late and the cars were filthy. With Uber, I've only waited 15 minutes at most for a ride and the cars were much cleaner.
I became an Uber driver and enjoyed helping people. I only had one rider out of 30 or more that the client were frustrating because the couple was arguing of where they wanted to go. The reason l quit driving was because of the city cracking down on drivers and I didn't want to get busted.
Yes to Uber! I am 72 & don't drive. I use Uber 3 or 4 times a week for dr appointments, shopping, etc. It saves me $40 - $50 a week. The service is extraordinary. Never late, courtesy. Many of my friends use Uber. Leave them alone. Don't screw up great service for the elderly.
I've always had a great experiences with Uber in every city I visit. The drivers are all so courteous and knowledgeable about the area. The cars are clean. They are quick! I can track them as they navigate to my location. I can see the drivers name and profile picture and what kind of car they are driving, so I can easily identify them when they pull up. They usually text or call me to let me know they are on their way. Payment is automatic through my PayPal account. The entire process is easy, fun, and safe. I feel very comfortable using Uber in every city I go to. I want the same options in my home town. And I think everyone that visits Corpus Christi expects those options as well.
